The Farm Stay
Welcome to Margo's Garden, a cosy farmstay and international community nestled in the mountains of Akaigawa.

Our home has a unique blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, just minutes from the Kiroro Ski Resort.

Margo's Garden is about connecting with nature and connecting with people, sharing outdoor adventures and sharing peace, good food and cosyness - whether you are visiting in winter for the world's best powder, or in summer for a quiet mountain retreat.

Our mountain professionals Otaru Adventure are Kiroro specialist snowsports instructors and guides. They will level up your skiing and find the best powder beyond Kiroro to Sapporo Kokusai, Otaru Tenguyama and Asarigawa ski areas.
Much of Margo's Garden restaurant ingredients are grown here on the farm, gathered from the forest, or sourced from the neighbouring fields, ranches and fisheries of the Yoichi region.
Whether you want to visit on holiday, work with us, or build something more long term in our community, we welcome adventurous souls looking for warmth and authenticity, and those who appreciate and respect the sanctity of Hokkaido's nature and local communities.
